Statement of Purpose

Statement of purpose/Personal statement or letter of motivation is a very important document for admission, visa application. Please consider the following while preparing writing your motivation letter.

Your statement of purpose should contain the following key details:

  • Reasons for choosing the UK over your home country and other countries
  • Reason for choosing the course and how it interlinks with your current education and future career plans
  • Reason for choosing to pursue this course abroad
  • Future goals and career plans after completing the course
  • Other pertinent information to your application

It is important that you write your own SOP instead of getting someone else to do it for you even if you think it is far from perfect. SOP copied from the internet is worthless and can be easily figured out by admissions or consular section leading to refusals.
