If you are going to study in the US for more than a couple of weeks you will need to apply for a F-1 student visa. Studying in the U.S. as an international student can be an exciting and enriching experience, which is why more and more students choose to come to the U.S. each year. Enrollment of international students in American high schools and colleges has risen significantly in recent years. Here we will guide you through the application process step by step.

Step 1. Counseling

During this stage, we assess your academic qualifications and grades, English proficiency and financials and inform you whether you meet the requirements for studying in the USA or not, or what you need to study in the USA.

Create Online Application / Paper Applications

  • Courier Transcripts to School( if required)

Step 7

Await University/College Decision

Step 8.

Send financial documents to School for I-20 Processing

Track I-20

Step 9

  • Prepare for Visa
  • Interview
  • Mock Interview Sessions
  • Submit DS-160
  • Pay 350 USD SEVIS Fee
  • Pay MRV 160 USD Fee

Step 10

  • Attend Visa Interview
  • Wait for Passport with Visa Stamp if granted.

Step 11

  • Attend Orientation at University
  • Present Originals at this Time
  • Register for Classes
  • Pay Tuition Fee

Required documents for the interview

Appointment Letter: Visa appointments can book online at The final confirmation will be sent to the student’s email address.

You will need to prepare a number of documents for the interview. Among those documents are:

  • Your passport
  • Photograph: One (1) 2"x2" (5cmx5cm) photograph taken within the last six months.
  • Your DS-160 confirmation page-This form should be completed at
  • Receipt of payment for your visa application fee and your SEVIS-fee
  • Your I-20

You should also bring supporting documents such as:

  • Documents that support that you can pay for all educational, living and travel costs.
  • Academic records such as transcripts, diplomas and test results (like IELTS,TOEFL score)
Note: Embassy might require additional documents so make sure to check what it says on the website for the US Embassy or consulate where you will apply.
